We are looking for a Project Manager – Hauling & Construction to lead the overall execution of hauling and construction projects on-site. This role holds full responsibility for the project's technical, operational, and financial performance. You will act as the main liaison between the site team and the Director, playing a critical role in planning, monitoring budgets, managing workforce operations, and ensuring all activities are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with safety and legal standards.
1. Project Planning & Execution - Develop daily, weekly, monthly, and annual project plans - Ensure hauling and construction activities meet time and technical targets - Create effective and efficient work methods and job sequencing 2. Budget & Cost Control - Manage full project budget (end-to-end) - Track budget realization across: Production (equipment, fuel, maintenance) HR (wages, overtime) - Operations (accommodation, logistics, safety) - Overhead & site admin - Conduct cost efficiency analysis and provide savings strategies - Submit regular cost control reports to the Director 3. Team Management & Coordination - Manage field labor: heavy equipment operators, technicians, supervisors, and support staff - Coordinate with HR for attendance, shift schedules, and payroll - Liaise between site team, contractors, vendors, and head office 4. Reporting & Field Analysis - Deliver reports on project progress, production, costs, and deviations - Provide field issue analysis and resolution recommendations - Report directly to the Director on a weekly/monthly basis (or daily if needed) 5. Quality, Safety (K3), and Compliance - Ensure project execution meets technical standards and quality specs - Enforce occupational health & safety (K3) standards - Ensure all operations comply with relevant permits and regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, - Mining Engineering, Project or Industrial Management - Minimum 5 years of experience in medium to large-scale hauling and construction projects - Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager or Site Manager - Proven ability to manage project budgets comprehensively - Skilled in cost analysis and financial reporting - Solid understanding of heavy equipment and hauling processes - POP (Pengawas Operasional Pertama) certification is required - Strong leadership and ability to manage large teams on-site - Analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of making both tactical and strategic decisions - Excellent communication skills, especially in reporting to management - Fluent in English (spoken and written)
